Terms of Use

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

Closer connects creators with fans. Creators may offer subscriptions, content, and direct messaging. Fans may subscribe to creators and access the content and features associated with their subscription tier.

Creators are solely responsible for the content they publish and for honoring what they offer to subscribers. Closer is not a party to the relationship between creators and fans beyond providing the platform.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.

You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Creators receive payouts for eligible earnings, less applicable platform fees and payment-processing fees, subject to Stripe's requirements and any holds or reserves we apply to manage risk, chargebacks, or compliance.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any law or the rights of others, including intellectual property rights;
• Post content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, or involves minors;
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• Distribute malware or attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service;
• Circumvent payment, access controls, or any security measures.

You retain ownership of the content you create. By posting content, you grant Closer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate and provide the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Closer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
